A permit issued by the Kansas Department of Transportation on Tuesday gives the go ahead for the 32nd Street Alignment of the South Lawrence Trafficway. If constructed, the road will pave through a 56-acre patch of the Baker Wetlands, but Douglas County attorney Bob Eye plans to pounce on KDOT and the Federal Highway Administration with a lawsuit before that happens.

Dusty Garner is more than just a set of pretty legs and really big knockers.
"When I'm out and about, I'm actually a horribly shy person," said Garner, the accomplished drag queen, restaurant owner and full-time student.
The regular blond-haired, blue-eyed, jeans wearer said while he's too shy to even go up and talk to people when he goes out, Garner's personality changes 180 degrees when he turns into his counterpart Monica Moree.

Moses Manu finished his senior football season playing defensive end for the Wildcats, with 34 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss and two sacks. He was not finished making big plays as a Wildcat though.
In early March, Manu joined the K-State/Fort Riley Rugby Club.

Winning a majority of the categories, Delta Tau Delta fraternity walked away with the prize as overall Greek Week champions last week at the Greek Awards Banquet. "They did a really good job this year with their community service," Panhellenic President Jess Miner said.
