A K-State football player was stabbed and two other people were injured during a confrontation in the early morning hours Sunday, according to Riley County Police Department reports.
RCPD Lt. Kurt Moldrup said senior running back James Johnson allegedly was stabbed five times by Aaron Wallace, 26, of Kansas City, Kan., during a confrontation that began at a bar and continued at an after-party at 1752 Cassell Road. After the stabbing, a group of people at the house allegedly beat Wallace until he was unconscious, according to RCPD reports.
Resident of the house, Christopher Patterson, 22, also was injured during the incident. He was cut on the hand while trying to break up the fight.
Johnson and Wallace both were treated at Mercy Regional Health Center for their injuries, according to RCPD reports. Johnson was treated for stab wounds to his right side, the center of his lower back and to his right forearm as well as for two wounds under his left arm.
Moldrup said the incident is still under investigation, and no arrests have been made.

Hey idiot - they published it from the police report. Why the quotes around football? He plays football. If you're going to attack the writer for a story, first learn how to articulate thoughts in English, then find a story with a flaw. (Continued…)

How can you say allegedly stabbed when he actually was treated for stab wounds? Just curious...

Allison Voris, I am hoping you can clear up a question I had concerning the headline to your article about James Johnson. First did you write the headline or did someone write it for you? Secondly, how is someone allegedly stabbed? Unless I am missing something either you are stabbed or you are not stabbed. (Continued…)

Umm, look guys; this is the way print journalism works: unless a perpetrator is actually convicted in a court of law, the incident can only legally be described as "alleged. (Continued…)
